Lars has over 20 years of extensive experience working in both the National Health Service (NHS) and the private health sector.
In this time he has worked with a variety of complex psychological difficulties including depression and anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, interpersonal functioning, relationship and sexual functioning.
Lars experience extends to both gender as well as child/adolescents and adult psychological difficulties. He has lectured in interpersonal difficulties and personality functioning at Surrey University at Post-Graduate MSc level for Forensic Psychologists.
Lars has also managed a team specialising in pioneering cognitive behavioural group and individual interventions for individuals with interpersonal difficulties. He is currently working as a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist using his experience to help people overcome a variety of mental health difficulties. His work includes facilitating a professional lead liaison role in Autistic disorder Spectrum (ASD), Asperger’s, Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) cases.
Lars is also a Veterans Champion (providing therapy for and advising on cases in which military veterans are treated for PTSD).
In addition to this, Lars is trained in Schema-Focused Cognitive Therapy.
