This policy sets out how Adapted Psychological Therapies (“Adapted Therapies”) will treat personal information of visitors to and/or users of our website and on-line services.
1 – Information Collected By Adapted Therapies
Adapted Therapies may collect, store and use the following kinds of personal information:

Information that you provide for the purpose of registering with Adapted Therapies online services and email notification.

2 – Cookies

Adapted Therapies online services may use both session and/or persistent cookies.

3 – How Adapted Therapies Uses Personal Information
Adapted Therapies may use your personal information to:

Where personal information is submitted for publication on our online services, this information will be published and otherwise used in accordance with the licence you grant to Adapted Therapies.
We will not without your express consent provide your personal information to any third parties for the purpose of direct marketing.
We currently do not handle any online financial transactions.

In addition, Adapted Therapies may disclose your personal information:
to the extent that Adapted Tgherapies is required to do so by law;
in connection with any legal proceedings or prospective legal proceedings;
in order to establish, exercise or defend the our legal rights (this includes providing information to third parties for the purposes of fraud prevention and reducing credit risk).

Adapted Therapies will take reasonable technical and organisational precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information.
All the personal information you provide will be stored on our secure servers. These servers are password- and firewall- protected. All electronic transactions containing personal details that you make to or receive from Adapted Therapies will be encrypted using SSL technology.
It should be noted that data transmission over the internet is inherently insecure, and as such Adapted Therapies cannot guarantee the security of data sent over the internet.
You are responsible for keeping your password and user details confidential. Adapted Therapies will not ask you for your password (except when you log in to our online services).

You may instruct Adapted Therapies to provide you with any personal information we hold about you. Providing this information will be subject to:
payment of a fee (currently fixed at £30.00); and,
supplying appropriate evidence of your identity (for this purpose, Adapted Therapies will usually accept a photocopy of your passport certified by a solicitor or bank plus an original copy of a utility bill showing your current address).
Adapted Therapies may withhold such personal information to the extent permitted by law.
You may instruct Adapted Therapies not to process your personal information for marketing purposes. This will normally be expressly agreed by you in advance to the use of your personal information for marketing purposes, or you will be provided with an opportunity to opt-in to the use of your personal information for marketing purposes.

Some Adapted Therapies online services may contain links to third party websites. Adapted Therapies is not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of these websites.
9 – Updating Your Information
It is your responsibility to inform Adapted Therapies if the personal information we hold about you needs to be corrected or updated.
